- Bachelor of Health Science – Health Science majors can start Summer B or Fall.

Information for Transfer Applicants
Transfer applicants must complete the University of Florida Transfer Admissions application. In addition to the courses specified below, all transfer applicants must earn an AA degree to be eligible for any major in the College of Public Health and Health Professions.

To be considered for the junior/senior portion of the major, students must have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA, minimum 3.0 prerequisite GPA, with a “C” or better in all prerequisite courses (letter grades for at least three of the six prerequisite courses are preferred), and be on track to complete 60 credit hours by the end of their sophomore year.

To advance to the junior year, students must have a minimum 3.2 overall GPA, minimum 3.0 critical tracking GPA, with a “C” or better in all prerequisite courses, and be on track to complete 60 credit hours by the end of their sophomore year.
* Students in the Pre-Rehabilitation Specialization can complete BSC2005 and BSC2005L. Only students interested in Occupational Therapy should take BSC2005, though BSC2010 is preferred. Students interested in going to Physical Therapy school should only take BSC2010.
** Students in the Preprofessional Specialization can complete CHM2045 General Chemistry 1 in place of APK2105C.
