- Applications for the major open early November and all materials must be received by February 1st for priority review and closes February 15.
- Bachelor of Health Science – Communication Science and Disorders majors can start Fall only.
- Bachelor of Health Science – Health Science majors can start Summer B or Fall.
- Bachelor of Public Health can start Summer B or Fall.
Information for Transfer Applicants
Transfer applicants must complete the University of Florida Transfer Admissions application as well as the secondary application on this website. Applicants are required to complete the UF Transfer Admissions application before submitting the secondary application. The secondary application opens in November and is due February 1 for priority review and closes February 15, 2023.
The Health Science and Public Health application closes February 15, 2023.

To be considered for the junior/senior portion of the major, students must have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA, minimum 3.0 prerequisite GPA, with a “C” or better in all prerequisite courses (letter grades for at least three of the six prerequisite courses are preferred), and be on track to complete 60 credit hours by the end of their sophomore year.
