Artificial Intelligence in Public Health and Healthcare Certificate

The College of Public Health and Health Professions is pleased to offer undergraduate students across campus the opportunity to pursue an Artificial Intelligence in Public Health and Healthcare certificate. The certificate requires 9 credits and is comprised of three courses. The Artificial Intelligence in Public Health and Healthcare certificate is for those seeking to acquire fundamental knowledge, ethical decision-making, and applied skills in artificial intelligence applications in public health practice and healthcare settings.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Students must be at junior or senior level standing (60+ credits earned) and have credit for STA2023 or an approved equivalent.
  • Students must be current University of Florida degree-seeking undergraduate students; non-degree seeking or graduate students are not eligible.

To apply for the Artificial Intelligence in Public Health and Healthcare certificate, please submit the required certificate application. Make sure to wait until you’re enrolled in at least one of the three certificate courses before submitting the application.
