The Public Health (BPH) program is designed to provide students the opportunity to learn foundation skills necessary to succeed in the dynamic health environment and provide students with the knowledge and skills for both individual and community-based health care. Students obtain the core skills necessary for advanced education in public health or a related field.

A message from our Director
Welcome to the University of Florida’s Bachelors of Public Health program. Our mission reflects that of the college, to preserve, promote and improve the health and well-being of populations, communities and individuals. To do this is in the BPH, we strive to create a foundation for public health education so that our students can incorporate the skills and knowledge obtained by complimenting it with medicine, dentistry, nursing, law, etc., by matriculating into graduate public health programs, or by entering the public health workforce.
