Health care facilities need managers with skills in management, information technology, economics, and leadership to effectively work with clinicians and administrators to successfully run healthcare facilities. The Health Administration minor is a 15-credit minor that will teach students the fundamentals of health administration in preparation for a career or advanced degree in the health industry.
Eligibility
Students enrolled in an MPH combination degree program are not eligible to pursue the Health Administration minor.

Junior standing (60 or more credits)
3.0+ UF GPA

Minor Courses
Students accepted into the minor are required to complete 15 total credits including 12 credits of required coursework and 3 credits of elective coursework. Students may choose any elective courses listed below to meet the elective requirements. Students are strongly advised to take HSA3111 first, as it is a prerequisite for most other minor courses.
