The PHHP College Honors Program consists of three levels: cum laude (honors), magna cum laude (high honors), and summa cum laude (highest honors). Students seeking to graduate with honors must apply by the deadline in the fall semester of their junior year. To be eligible, students must be enrolled as a junior in the limited access portion of the Bachelor of Public Health or Bachelor of Health Science programs, in good academic standing, and have an anticipated GPA of at least 3.75 by the time of graduation.
The University Scholars Program introduces undergraduate students at the University of Florida to the exciting world of academic research. In the program, students work one-on-one with UF faculty on selected research projects. Through this initiative, students will take away an understanding of and appreciation for the scholarly method.
